I first heard of the Beauty Pie concept a few months ago and it took me sometime to be fully sold before signing up. I was a little sceptical that is all sounded a bit to good to be true. I signed up on Boxing Day and my goodness I am SO pleased I did.

So what it is?

On their instagram page Beauty Pie describe themselves as the ‘Netflix of premium beauty’ and this is so accurate. The way it works is as follows,

1. Choose your membership - this is the subscription you pay for access to premium beauty brands at a steal of the price. You can choose from Mini Monthly for £5 per month, Monthly for £10 per month or Super VIP for £20 per month. Depending on which subscription you choose you get a monthly spending limit. The Mini is a £50 spending limit (I honestly wouldn’t recommend that one) Monthly is a £100 spending limit and VIP is a £200 spending limit. If you are into beauty in anyway go for the VIP, I wish I had done that now and am seriously considering upping my membership. Yes…that’s how much I love it.

2. You then have access to products that come from the same labs as Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown and many other luxury brands BUT…you pay high street prices. It is seriously that good and that simple. You pay your monthly subscription and get a spending a limit, but you only pay high street prices and all the brands are from luxury labs.

As you can see that foundation could be any one of a million high end foundations from a number of luxury brands, if you were to buy it from one of those luxury places it would cost £30 plus, but with a beauty pie membership it is only £6.91. The only thing to remember is that it is the luxury price that comes out of your monthly spending limit. For example if your bought that foundation and you had a spending limit of £100, you have £70 left to spend for that month after you had purchased it. That’s why if you love make-up and skin care then you want a bigger allowance each month. Any remaining money in your pot at the end of the month rolls over to the next month.

What have I purchased?

Pomegranate and Baies Rose candle - this smells gorgeous! If you like Jo Malone pomegranate noir you will LOVE this, it smells exactly the same.

Hyaluronic and Biopeptide Serum - I really love this product, it has left my skin feeling more plump and nourished. It will be an ongoing re-purchase for me for sure!

The SPF - this is so lightweight without being sticky and sits really nicely under make-up.

I really think it’s a no brainier to be signed up to this concept, everything I have tried I have loved and I have an ever growing wish-list saved in my account. If you end up subscribing make sure you put Ruth Ayres in at the check out and you will get your first month free. (This post is not sponsored by Beauty Pie, it's just a refer a friend scheme on their website.)

I would love to hear how you get on and the products you love if you purchase any.

Big Love

Ruth x

PS subscribe if you haven’t already!
