My Make Up || Top Picks

I thought I would sit down and share with you some of the make-up I love and why, the products in this post are my go to, ones that I use most days. Some of these are old faves that I have used for a while, others are newer to the collection, but this is what I am loving at the moment. I would love to hear from you about the products you love and can't live without.

Foundation

I have two different foundations and both do very different things, it really depends on how much coverage I want, and what look I am going for as to which one I choose. Skin Foundation Stick by Bobbie Brown is a light coverage that can be more built up to produce a more medium look. It is so creamy and light and the shade I use is ivory. If I am looking for a fuller coverage for a night out or a big day at work I reach for Bobbi Browns Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15. This really is long-wear and makes my skin look beautifully dewy! It's one of my absolute faves.

Bronzer

Don't be frightened of bronzer, I really was until a few years ago and now it is the thing that makes me feel the most alive. I love the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Palette and the bronzer in that is lovely, I also really like the By Terry, Sun Designer Palette I have the older one than the one linked here, but it is really lush and both the bronzer and highlighter are BEAUTIFUL.

Blusher & Highlighter

My absolute GO TO fave blusher at the moment (and has been for a long time) is the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blush in Ecstasy. The outer ring on the whole cheek and the centre ring on the apple of my cheek gives the most natural glow, with a beautiful pop of colour. I have two other Charlotte Tilbury blushers, but this is the colour I find myself reaching for day after day. Highlighter is one of my most favourite products, the bounce of light it adds to my checks to create that beautiful glow really is the finishing touch for me. Mascara and Brows

Day to day I do a very minimal eye and really, I am all about the mascara, I have just recently purchased a new one, I have only used it once, but it seems pretty good. It is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex Mascara, what I have learnt is that I like a fat wand that has real bristles, I don't like small plastic wands, that's just my preference. Until I purchased my Rimmel mascara I was using a free sample of the Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Mascara. It's lovely however it is expensive and drug store mascaras are often better. For my brows I use Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brow and it is EXCELLENT, I use a brush to apply it rather than the product applicator.

Powder

The finishing touch, the thing that sets my whole face and makes my make up last! I apply my powder at the end, after everything else and then I pop it in my bag to reduce any shine throughout the day. I am currently using the Airbrush Flawless Finish by Charlotte Tilbury. It is really good, but once it runs out I will be going back to the Nude Finish Illuminating Powder by Bobbi Brown. This product is not for you of you prefer a matte finish as it does have some glitter and shine. But I really love it, it is so natural and I am all about the dewy glowy looks, so it is perfect.
